I joined the new Artificial Intelligence major here at BCC. I figured that if robots are going to be thinking for us and probably doing a majority of human jobs, it'd be the only field I could join to not be left behind.
I am 35 years old and I have been to BCC before. Right out of high school, I went to Emmanuel College in Boston and didn't take any of the homework seriously (major procrastinator). I went to the classes (mostly) and read the readings and participated in the discussions, but I was more interested in playing my guitar and hanging out with friends and girls than I was in doing any of the projects or homework. That was a big oops.
So I went into the workforce doing a number of different service and retail jobs. I became a father at 24. My oldest daughter is Aria. I had been enrolled at BCC at the time in the Graphic Design program--ultimately graduated with an Associates in Animation and Motion Graphics. So, when completed, this will be my second Associates Degree. About a year ago, I also completed the Google Grow UX Design Certificate Program through Coursera. I am still trying to find the time to make a killer portfolio.
My second daughter was born in 2017. Her name is Lennix. My two daughters and I live with my fiance Rachel and her two children, Maddie & Cole. We live in a small house in East Taunton.
I work at Riverside Art in Somerset in the printing and graphics department. I use Photoshop everyday and a number of different high-end imaging devices to reproduce giclee prints for working artists--that's the niche of this print shop. In my spare time, I am making music, digital art, and playing with my kids.
